After thanksgiving, I haul off with the all the parts and make Cajun delight! This morning was turkey gumbo with all the leftovers and red bean (kidney beans) with ham bone! I had so much that I had to get more containers to package it up. The freezer is working overtime trying to cool it all down. The gumbo was good, but the beans are EXCELLENT! Wow I event surprised myself. They are normally really good, but tonight they were exceptional; they broke down and made that great thick sauce. Yum yum, much to share and freeze for later in the cold dark months of winter.
